so im tired of not being able to play xbox because my wife is watching tivo'd soap operas at night. thus, i need the vga cable so i can hook my xbox up to my 22" widescreen lcd monitor. ive looked up the vga cable and was astounded that it's a whopping $40!!!! no way. so i went to walmart.com and saw some 3rd party cables at around $20. does anyone have the 3rd party cables? and are they any good?
i have the madcatz one, it cost me 25 bucks(Canadian)

cool thanks. yeah i hate em. my wife will turn on the tv and say "i gotta find out what happened on my soaps!" and ill say "ill tell you what happened....the same thing that happened last week!!!"
LOL, I have the same problem with my wife DVRing soaps, plus she's a Rachel Ray nut, so I get to hear that all night. God bless headphones and VGA cables!

yeah no doubt. my wife is actually right now watching Big Brother....thats almost worse than soaps! Big Brother comes on like 3 times a week too! ugh. so instead of playing gears, im stuck at my pc doing nothing.
