Is it possible to connect to XBL through my laptop's wireless connection instead of plunking down $100 for the Xbox wireless adapter? Like Xbox > cable > laptop > XBL? I'm ninja-ing my gf's wireless connection in her apartment, so I can't plug in without running 50ft. of CAT5 cable.

I read about some people doing it before but I don't remember entirely what they did. They had the cable connecting the laptop and 360 and then did some adjusting in the network settings of the laptop. I'm sorry I couldn't be much help but that's all I remember from it

Well at least now I know it can be done. Anyone else know about it?

This should be what you're looking for in bridging the connection from your laptop to your 360:
