is it worth the 100 bucks or can i find a generic one or somthing for cheaper that will work just as fine? just got my 360 and id like to play with my cousins and brother who live in a different state but they use a land cable so they didnt know lol

Agreed!!! Plus, you might have compatibility issues with a generic one.

well im asking because ive seen some others that say they are completly compatible with xbox 360 and is considerably cheaper but i figured i would ask first

Yeah...that might be true but you wouldn't be saving that much for an alternative. It's better to be safe then sorry.lol:)

also if anyone is checkin this out still i hear the 360 tends to break down pretty often? lol mine came with a year warranty from sams club ifi need to is there a possibilty of extending the warranty?

None of the 360 SKU's come with built-in WiFi. Definitely get the wireless adapter. I have it and I totally love it.

It's called the hidden cost of the 360, the other consoles have hidden costs too. Anyways, it might be best to get the xbox one, it will save some compatibility hassle, check boxing day for any deals.

this is a noob question but i never found out wat the wirelles adapter is for so thats my question what is it for? Is it for a wireless router and can u get a better connection than with a wired one?

hey gustavog, the wireless adaptor just makes it so that you can connect your 360 to a wireless router using wi-fi. otherwise, you have to connect it using the ethernet cable. both run on broadband, only one requires a cable, and the other requires a wireless router and the adapter.

oh, and with a wireless adaptor, you can bum the connection off your neighbor, like i do : ).
