Hello, my xbox recently just turned green screen while i was playing COD 4, and so i told my party that there is something wrong with my 360. So i said ill be right back. I turned it off, and i tryed to turn it back and it worked perfectly, except there was no video... BUT! There was sound, so i said it obviously isnt the cable. And now im looking up videos on how to repair my xbox myself, my warranty is up. But i know there is the towel trick, but i heard that just messes your 360 up, so i am not doing that. Can anybody tell me about a website on how to fix it, or can you tell me a way to get it to work?

Thank you

if that doesnt work you will need to send your 360 into repairs even though it costs either 90 to 100 dollars

You probably already either fixed it or sent it back but for anyone else who comes on here I just had the same problem today. I tried the towel trick and after about 5 to 10 minutes my xbox shut itself off. I turned it back on and the video has been working fine. Hopefully it will continue to work. This is for anyone whose video isn't working, but there is no red ring of death.

Same exact thing happened to me twice, and the warranty does not cover this so I ended having to buy a new console.
