Xbox 360's 2008 game releases

Here is a quick look into the 4 quarters of 2008. You thought this year was awesome? Next year has the potential to be just as good or even better than this year. Yeah I know, scary.

Note: I got most of these games from right here on Gamespot. So if the quarters are wrong let me know.

Games in BOLD and UNDERLINE are exclusive to the Xbox 360 Console. (*=Also available on PC.)

Isn't Gears of War 2 coming out in 2008?

I looked into Banjo, Vegas, and Gears. Gears is the only one listed as "TBA" so I won't list it until it says TBA 2008. I didn't list any game that said (Working Title).

Keep me posted, and I'll try and keep a list updated. After New Years I'll list the Quarter 1 by months.

I didn't include yearly sports games, cause they come out every year around the same time.

Newly added:

TNA iMPACT added to Q2

APB, Backbreaker, Blood Bowl, Demons of Mercy, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Soulcalibur IV, and The Shadow of Aten listed as TBA 2008.

Wow, a lot of those games are coming out sooner than I thought they were. Q1 is especially packed. Going to be another amazing year (assuming some of those games don't get delayed). I just want 2009 to hurry up so I can play some RE5 :Dgameguy6700

I'm sure the other 3 quarters will get bigger the closer we get to them. I agree a lot of those games will get delayed, maybe delayed till 2009.

Not trin to get your hopes up but, its very possible that RE5 could be released in the end of Q4.

Right now there is no info on GRAW 3, Gears 2, and Mass Effect 2.

GoW2 is the only game I could find any thing on and its still listed as TBA.

As of now RE5 is still listed as TBA. Its possible that it could see a late 2008 winter release.

Should be an alright year, but I am not looking forward to as many games as I was for 2007.

2007 I was hyped for ME, AC, BioShock, GH3, Eternal Sonata

For 2008 the only games I'm really looking forward to are Force Unleashed, and Fable 2.

Why would gears of war 2 come out in 2008 when I'm sure they didn't even start development on it until mid 07 I would say christmas 2009 at the earliest.

Maybe, but Capcom did say that they were aiming for a 2009 release and usually developers give the earliest date that they think the game will be done by. So a Q4 2008 release, while not completely out of the question, is unlikely.

Also, I bolded exclusives for the 360 and PC. The reason for PC is obvious for some.

When most ppl talk about "Console Exclusive" that means consoles (360, PS3, and the Wii,) PC is of course is a gaming platform, but its not a console. Not to mention, when games are released for the PC they are labled "Games for Windows".

For example, saying Gears of War is not exclusive for the 360, would be like saying a game is not exclusive to the PS3 if it was also released only to the PSP.

Just thought I would clear that up.
