That won't happen since some people would then think the XBOX would be inferior to the Playstation 4 that is likely going to come around at the same time. They're probably going to go with a new name at this point.
I hope it doesn't come soon, because I am planning on buying the Gears 3 console.. I heard Microsoft wants to wait until 2015, but that seems way too far away..

ok 1) microsoft has just started development for the next xbox aka {as in blueprints} {as in 2-3 years away} 2) why forthe love of god is there a new thread for "the next xbox?" "what should the next xbox have" "time for a next gen xbox?" almost every day?can you people give it a rest :roll:
Microsoft probably wont call it the xbox 720, in fact I hope it doesnt get released next year or a year after that because I need to catch up and the Xbox 360 is doing to good so why worry about a new generation right now, I think the only console thats being made is the nintendowii or whatever it is( havent heard much)
