Xbox Broke 3 red lights

Ok first of all i know this thread has been made hundreds of times but i truely cant figure out wat to do and for that i am sorry. today after a year and a half of owning the best console ever it quit on me and i dont know wat to do. my best buy warrenty just ran out and i never got the xbox one. i heard u can send it in for $100 but i cant figure out where all the info on this is. i also heard that b4 u send in u have 2 delete everything which i cant do since my xbox freezes with the 3 red lights the second it is turned on. can someone plz help me with the repair ( where to ship, what to ship in, Info on it) and also how to clean my systems memory without turning it on (reset button?).

Theres a 1-800 number you can call its like 1-800-FORMYXBOX but I don't think thats the totally right. Someone on here will know the actual number and can give it to you.

Yeah my xbox 360 got the 3 red lights recently for the second time and now Microsoft wants me to ship it in and get a refund cause i dont have a warranty anymore.

They're pretty good when it comes to repairs, I got mine back within two weeks when I sent it in. Haven't had any problems since.

Has the same serial number on it so I assume it's the same one. Doesn't matter to me either way though. All I care about is if it works or not.

Before this goes too far do not delete your content. There is no point. Microsoft will tell you not to include your harddrive (unless the hard drive actually is the problem). You simply send in the console.

Yeah, my launch 360 finally went on me two days ago......I'm waiting for my coffin to come in the mail. I can't complain though....Nov 05' to June 07' with no problems at all. Once it comes back, I'm selling it and getting an elite.

u haveheard that the red light is very common it is called like the the red eye when the light comes up sometimes all u have 2 do is just restart it my 360 has never done it

You should complain the shelf life of a system should be way longer than that. That's why I bought the insurance.
