Xbox Classic Games

I know this topic may seem odd to a lot of you but I've always wondered whether I'm not alone on this thought:

I hate owning a Classic Xbox game...I know, its purely cosmetic and does not affect gameplay or content in any shape or form but I just HATE the boxes. I see the massive " CLASSIC " font down the side and I get shudders...For instance, I saw Dead Space in the shop down the road goin for 5 euro(!) and my heart leapt...

until I saw the Classic packaging and I was instantly torn: Pick up an excellent game for a steal of a price or don't because of the that awful, cheap looking cover..Needless to say, I searched elsewhere...Sad, I know, but I can't have a Classic game ruin my perfect, beautiful collection of game boxes with nice cover art devoid of any tacky **** on the side beside my Xbox

I'm weird,yes and must be semi-OCD or something but can anyone relate to this?..ANYONE?!? IM NOT CRAZY!

And please do not tell me to blog this as it's a genuine question...

Yeah thats the obvious logical thing I try to tell myself but I just can't bring myself to get over it...

Actual official game cover art doesn't bother me one bit, even if it looks ridiculous but when they plaster that "Classics" border around the original cover, I just don't wanna know about it...

Its a sad, strange little affliction and apparentley one that affects me only...:cry:

If you're a collector, it matters. That's why things like PS1 black label games are more collectable (and generally more valuable) than those with the Greatest Hits packaging.

The same appliles to the Classic and Platinum Hits packaging.

If it's purely for looks, then that's your choice and there's nothing wrong with that.
