I finally sold my Wii, and got an HD tv, so I'm ready to get an Xbox. The premium is 400 while the core is only 300. Which one should I get? I don't really think I need a headset, and do I really need a 20 GB hard drive? I usually only play 1-2 games at a time, and when I'm done beating it, I don't really need it saved anymore. So tell me what I should get and why please.
Are you going to hook up to XBL? If so, even just for Silver, get the Premium. Don't forget you need to buy a MU for the core, so really it is over $300.
Edit: O how did I forget, the Core does not come with the cables to hook up to an HD TV.
I'd get the premium. You also get the S-Video, and Component cables. Also it would be best because of the 20GB HDD, because they got a lot of content on Xbox Live.

Plus you dont even get a wireless controller.

The memory card holds like 1-2 games. you eventually want to go on Xbox live. Once you are on it is the like the most fun you can have. I didn't care for Xbox live until I tried it a couple yers back.
Plus the 360 premium physical appearence is better. The core system looks retarded witha different face plate the the stock one.
If you get the core system, you will regret it down the road.
Why can't you sell your Wii? I just sold mine on Ebay last week. I sold my USED Wii, an extra remote and nunchuck, and Zelda, and Madden 07 all for $400. I think I got a great deal, considering I only spend like $420 on it when I bought it new. You guys really think there will be a price drop soon? And what about buying it used, you think that would be a good idea to save 50-100 bucks?
