The only way to tell if it's the hard drive is to DETACH the hard drive and try playing the game. If the game still has graphical anomalies then most likely your 360 toast. Hope it still has some warranty left on it...

Don't forget gamestop gives the same credit for a working or broken 360.
mr_stumpy
Yup. Sell the 360 to Gamestop, buy a 360 from somewhere otehr than Ebay(NEVER buy hardware from Ebay) and use your credit from the 360 to buy games.
lol how much is that? if u kno off handDon't forget gamestop gives the same credit for a working or broken 360.

i kno this is dishonest... but i was thinkin buy a brand new one from walmart (the store is horrible to their workers anyway) then swap em, and return it cus "it didnt work" and if the serial number is an issue, i could swap the insides as wellOh my god you bought a 360 from Ebay? You just learned an expensive lesson...catrocr
That's why you must look over the items carefully.. I use Ebay constantly. How is that so surprised the TC did that? My first 360 I got used off Ebay, it worked perfect and I loved it, but I just upgraded to an Elite. I use ebay for everything.

Whether they're good to thier workers or not, it's a pretty douche thing to do.Did the guy say anything about it being broken on ebay? If not shouldn't you be allowed to get a refund for it?wwervinnope, he said it's guarenteed in working condition. i sent him an email, but he hasnt responded yet

I'd spam the hell out of his email and put his user rating wayyyyy down on ebay.

[QUOTE="catrocr"]Oh my god you bought a 360 from Ebay? You just learned an expensive lesson...AceTheShadelol sure did..Wow, never buy a 360 system from Ebay they could have sold you a RROD system or one with many hardware probs, the messed up pixels to me is not a Harddrive issue, but one caused by your graphics card, hate to be so blunt, but expect it to Red Ring on you shortly.
