i can't see live ever being free to be honest... microsoft wouldn't make much money!

as for the packs, again i don't think they'll b free for a while... should come down in price tho!

xbox live will NEVER be free because MS is making way too much money off of it that they would have to be stupid to make it free. as for the legendary pack, its confirmed that it will never be free.
