I'm planning to get an XBOX One and I saw a good slickdeals on XBOX 1600 MS points for $13.50, any idea if the point system is going to transfer over? I'm sure I can burn out 1600 points but I would like to know just for reference for the future.

good question. I dont think anything official has been made, but i sure that the next xbox live will most likly be dollar value. So i think the smart and easy thing for microsoft to do would be to just convert the account wallets.Â
Thanks for the quick response! Dang! $13.50 for a 1600 XBOX Live card is one heck of a deal! I'm assuming XBOX One probably won't come out until Novemberish, I'm sure I can burn 1600 points in 6 months? :) Thanks again!
How good of a deal is it when you don't even have anything to spend 1600 on? It's a complete waste of money and not a "deal" at all. They want you to pay your $13.50 because otherwise you wouldn't pay anything. Mind as well tap into the pockets of people who think it's such an amazing deal. I wouldn't spend any money on MS points unless I know of something specific that I want to buy. Otherwise, they are a complete waste. People brag about those deals because they spend it all on renting movies or something like that. That is silly if you ask me but it's a way for them to save money. If you plan to use those points on Games on Demand or XBLA than you're probably wasting money. I wouldn't recommend buying any points. I've bought a ton of points in the past and have nothing but junk to show for it. I bought a lot of points when I saw deals like this, which aren't really deals but just ways to get you to spend more money on more unnecessary things.
