I just had a question. Does it cost extra to play multiplayer games, like Left 4 Dead, online. My brother has told me that his friends have had to pay extra money after playing games online. I just wanted to know because this kind of defeats the point of a subscription if you have to pay extra money for using Xbox Live. Also, that sounds like a good deal, the one that Best Buy has.

First of all, your brother doesn't know what he is talking about. There is one subscription and that's it for the entire year - there isn't any extra charges. Second of all, that is an awesome deal, too bad it's not in Canada, lol.

I was kind of wondering if they expire too. Also does anyone know if you can just enter the card and add on to your remaining time or does it negate however much time you have left from your last purchase?

Not true. He might play the Final Fantasy oline game that has it's own monthly fee.
Sweet. I still have a one year card that was given way back in September that I haven't used yet. If I had the money, I would pick this up. I have to make sure it does not expire.
I am 99.9% sure that you can use the card and it will just extend the date that your current subscription runs through.

When I bought my 360 I also purchased a XBL 12 months kit... And I didn't know the 360 was bundled with 2 games, a 12 months XBL kit and one xbox backpack... I redeemed both cards the same day and they gave me 24 months of XBL

Yeah, but really, how many Xbox 360 games actually require a monthly fee? Maybe like two and that is because they are MMORPGs.
