Not sure about the USB WiFi. I thought only the official MS adaptor worked with the Xbox 360.Â
Saints Row = very good
Gears of War = excellent
Crackdown = very good (although is my favourite out of these three)
Expect Assassins Creed to come out just before Christmas.
Recommendations - if you like racing sims (such as the Gran Turismo series), check out Forza 2. If you would rather buy a cheaper racing game, get Project Gotham Racing 3 (PGR 3).Â
I reccomend getting Gears of War, Guitar Hero II, and your favorite sports game.Thats the best multiplayer combo.
Thank you guys i rly want to know about the usb wireless adapter cuz if i can use that it wud be so much better if u go to bestbuy.com they have it and different onesNot sure about the USB WiFi. I thought only the official MS adaptor worked with the Xbox 360.

No, i dont think you would be able to install it so the console recognizes it. Thats why Microsofts is the only one that will work, and im pretty sure its the only one you can get, And its not even that much, Last time i checkd.
Games. RB6 Vegas. and thats about it CoD3,

I'm pretty confident (although not 100% sure) that you have to use the Official Xbox 360 Wireless Adaptor from Microsoft.
The reason? Because most USB wireless adaptors are made for PCs and usually require software drivers, but you can't install drivers on the 360. Having said that, there probably are a few USB adaptors out there that will work with the 360's built-in drivers... but who knows which ones they are. Your best bet is to get the official one because you know it'll work.

I beleive XL70 is right because before they made the update available to download you could't even use an Ipod on the 360. Besides I would not recommend using any accessories on the 360 that are not made by MS
by the way you should deninnately purchase the games you are asking about they are all good games especially Gears and Saints row.
[QUOTE="Syco_D"] DO u know how much it is ? thanks guys

Were can i get a 50 ft ethernet cable? thanks again guys Â
I have know idea why I'm even going to mention this, but here goes. As others have pretty much made clear the only WiFi USB adaptor you can use on the 360 is currently the one offered by MS. However....You can use the older orginal X-Box adaptor. It requires and external power adaptor though.
Now there is one other option to consider. You can always get an ethernet to wireless bridge adaptor (if you can find one still being made and in stock) and that will work just as well. Thing is, they tend to cost about as much as the official USB wireless adaptor and they also require an external power source. The nice thing about them though, is you can pretty much make anything with a standard RJ45 port wireless in just a few minutes, where as the MS USB adaptor is pretty much made for the 360 and thats about it. So at least you would have future options for the unit. The final option is to buy a second el-cheapo router (for say $30 at walmart) and plug it in next to your 360. Then set it up to act as an access point to your main router. Instant and cheap WiFi for the 360.Â
Your safest and simplest bet is to just go with the official MS USB adaptor though. No extra power cords to deal with and the device is pretty much out of site. However, I would recommend the second router option as the money you save will net you an extra game for the 360. Just thought I'd pass on some basic info on this that is almost always ovelooked when somebody asks.   Â
