Hey, i just got fios and im having some issues with certain xbox games on live. In cod3 it always tells me cannot connect to all players. In arcade games like worms and uno i can only play with certain people. Some people on my friends list cant play with me in those games, they just get disconnected if they are in a game with me (dosnt matter if im host or not). Also when people join uno games that i am in the people instantly d/c. The last thing is that i can't go into private chat with certain people on my friends list (the same people i can't play uno and worms with). Im thinking its my routers (D-Link DI-604 and NETGEAR WGR614v6). Does anyone else with fios have this problem? If so, how did you fix it or if you have fios and all games on live work for you, what kind of router do you have. Thanks a ton = )
it's strange thought it lets me contect to graw 2 games & actually sign on to xboxlive however when i try & do private chat it doesnt work at all. Also when test contection it says it's runnning fine
Ty for the CoD3 guide zach, its reall helpfull. Drizzt I have the exact same problem you have with private chat and everything, so keep in touch if you figure anything out and I'll do the same to you.
Go to your system blad on your dash board, and to a network test. If it stats under NAT strick or Moderate ( meduim I am not 100%) then you need to fix that. I was aving problems before I could play with some of my freinds and I could not others. I did a little trouble shooting and figured my 360 settings needed to be fix. If it comes back with those two things, you need to set your 360 up in your router configuration to DMZ, this will take it out of the router's firewall, and will state the NAT is open. this should solve it.,
thanks for trying to help army how ever when i did the test it says it's running normal under nat so it's not that. the weird thing is that it worked fine for 3-4 months then suddenly while playing crack down it didnt workÂ

I dont have Verizon, but I do know if the NAT is not set to open it will mess up, Do you knwo how to get into your router's setting? If so try puting the port under DMZ setting, and see if it works, if not no harm. if you have any questions just feel free to ask. I am sure we can figure it out. Also another good source is go onto Xbox.xom forums and ask there as well.
