I highly doubt it, satellite interenet has very high ping. I used to have satellite internet and it was NOT able to play games online due to the ping.

It's a kind of a "you can but you shouldn't" scenario. My brother owns a few 360's at his work place and has satellite internet. They do work, but he gets really bad pings sometimes... other times it's fine like on DSL. Lets just say you won't be a reliable game host, yet you still can play. lol

u can be connected and browse the marketplace, download things, but as far as playing anything, forget about it, when i had Hughes (the worst 9 months of my life, lol) i was able to play Uno, which was still very laggy, and occasionally Perfect Dark Zero would let me play longer than 5 minutes, no other shooters would even connect, its a realllly horrible service

My gf's dad has satellite and her brothers can't do anything with Xbox Live. They also can't play WoW orEverquest, but they can play Ultima Online with lots of lag.

When I bought my house I made sure that high speed cable internet was available in the area, because from what I've experienced, satellite sucks.

I swiched to sattelite tv 18 months ago and was going for their internet service also untill friends put me off the idea for gaming.luckily i took their advice and stuck with my cable broadband, and eventually saw the error of my ways and ditched the sattelite tv too and now back on cable-which is far more reliable-especially during storms-when i frequently lost several channels. So i dread to think what the internet would have been like, plus they tend to limit your monthly downloads more.
