Those old-school-arcade-games like Root Beer Tapper might be nice for some nostalgic gamers, but to be honest: Does anybody really fell like having a great experience with those ugly pixelpiles? I don´t.
Arcade-games like Heavy Weapon or Uno really last a while, especially if they´re great multiplayers. But I think the free developement and distribution over the marketplace will bring us some nice surprises in the future.
About official releases I´m looking most forward to:
- 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures
... and then:
- Alien Hominid HD
- Worms
But I bet the next releases will be Catan or Luxor 2.

I like some of the retro-games. Paperboy is one of my favorite games on XBLA right now. I think sometimes they try and push old crap on us to fill space (Rally-X was crap long before it showed up on XBL -- and Scramble is like super-budget Gradius; Frogger is also not worth $5 on ANY planet), but some of them are fun. And if they released Burgertime on XBLA, I'd probably play as much of that as I do any of my other games. As it stands, I've played Lumines Live for 70 hours, which is about triple the amount of time I spent on Dead Rising.
I don't think the next release is going to be Castlevania... I think it's going to be something sucky that no one remembers but they're going to pass it off as retro and people will DL it and be like. "Look at me, I'm ironic!" or something.
I'm waiting for Alien Hominid, Worms and Super Ghosts N Goblins. The mini-golf game sounds pretty dern good too.
