i have roadrunner cable internet, connected to a lynksis BEFSR41 ver.4.2 router, connected to my 360. i'm having trouble playing some games on line, like call of duty 3, Rainbow six vegas, and madden 07. i thought it was an issue with the router, so i plugged my ethernet cable directley into the modem, and i still have problems. does anyone know what i can do to get a better connection so i can play all of my games online?

I would call your provider and tell them about your connection problems, it doesn't sound like it's on your end.

I had the same problem, don't happen to live in the Indianapolis area do you? Go to the linksys website and follow the tech support they give you. They walked me through it and I've never had a problem since. A common problem is too much interference with the 360 wireless adapter, it sucks. Everything gives interferance, microwaves, telephones, cell phones, metal, walls, yeah, so unless your router is sitting next to your 360 it's prolly best just to run a hardline and sink the line into the wall.
