I have a problem with one of my wireless networks it says I can't connect to XBOX LIVE so I do a test for it and it says I pass all test but fail the XBOX LIVE part of it so I need some help on what 2 do and my router is a ****** n1 wireless.

BTW I would have put this in the hardware discussion but it looks like no one has been in there for awhile.

Hi guys im in need of some major help. I have got my xbox 360 on a wireless network and what the problem is is that some days im playing online and in a middle of a game the all of sudden i get kicked from the game due to lost connection and then xbox live disconnects me. When i try to reconnect all i get is network error saying to turn off router for 30 secs and replug which does work but its hell of a pain keep doing this. Now i have the new ****** N1 vison router and have set up a dmz ip address for it and set my dns to what my router say it is. I do not need to forwerd ports 3040 or what ever it is as the nat is open and dmz auto open ports if correct etc. but anyway now i got perfect signal just now and then it drops down to about 75% but is connected ok. I find when a laptop connects to my router wirelessly if sometimes messes it up and lags etc and sometimes its ok. I really dont know what i can do to solve this is this a problem with my router or xbox live. I have notice as my router in a N device that apparently is a stronger signal compared to g now on my wireless information on xbox it says its on 801.11G mode Not N so has anything like that got to do with it. im not a mega tech nerd but know abit of stuff but anyway Please help me fokes i really need you pros brain boxes out there. Cheers p.s im with virgin media 10mb broadband getting 20mb soon
