yeah, a few hours ago i got a message from XBL saying it would be down for an hour for maintenance.... anyone know how long it's been down so i can log on an hour from then?
Theystarted at 8.00am UK time and it would effect us (the players) from 9.00 UK time for one hour so should be back around 40 minutes time at 10.00am (so I've read)
I was about to get an Overkill in Lone wolfs(halo3) when my Xbox froze:P(disconnected) oh well I guess it was ment to be. Im not allowed to get that achievement.
I've been cussing my family out for the last 20 minutes about 'not being able to get online'....How pathetic of a person I am. There is much needed reflection from my point of view...I SUCK.
Well i've heard (from somewhere can't remember where, maybe here) that they are getting an add on with Parent controls or w/e where the system will auto-Turn off within a set amount of time and it'll be this month. Could this be it? I dunno what it is I actually just got live like 2 weeks ago so this is the first time its happened to me (On 360 that is) But S*** I wish I could remember where I heard it, sorry guys.
I killed 8 streak with zero die on COD4 and teh live is down... pissed me offteddydx
lol, I was playin CoD4 aswell and had a 21 kill streak. and the game was almost over two, we need 3 more points. stupid crap. hopefully this is for the fall update stuff man.
Yeah it went down. I was pissed cause I was going career on these guys in Halo 3.

yeah it does happen. just as said before. for maintenance (or update).
In my opinion...this is rare. Very Rare. The maintenance or updates don't happen very often so don't let this down you when it comes to Xbox LIve. Same thing happens when it comes to Windows Live or PS3 Home ( whatever it is that they have at Sony) because when you have to do some updating...you have to shut it all down, but its only done like 2 or 3 times a year, so no worry.
