Xbox Live Gamerscores Anybody?

I'm just curious at how the hell people have such a low Gamerscore these days. I've played over a thousand of online matches (Any game) and checked at least a few hundred gamertags and only found about seven or eight Gamerscores over Ten-Thousand, If anybody wants to post their Gamerscores to prove me wrong I'd love that, or at least an explanation why people have such inferior numbers.

So far I've got 30517 Gamerscore.

Inferior numbers? Maybe some people never go for them? Anyway I have around 13,500 and I haven't got a new achievement in over a month. I normally only play TF2 and I have played it for around 700 hours that and the fact that I never go for achievements would explain why mine is low or whatever.
