Are you connected directly through the modem and switching out between the computer and xbox?

To help you out I'd need to know a little bit more about your setup (i.e. what router you are using?, are you connecting the xbox wired or wireless?, etc.). Without more information there isn't much anyone can tell you to do.

Agreed. Too many variables. We can guess all day but it isn't gonna get you far.

Okey:

I have a router (Netgear fast ethernet switchmodel FS 108) and I dont connect wireless.

My IP settings are on automatic.

I dont know how to allow the 360 to share the connection.

Can you get online with you computer using the same ethernet wire that your 360 is using and plug it into your PC to test the wire and connectivity. If you can get online using the same cable plugged into your PC problem is with your 360. Do you get any LED lights when ethernet cable is plugged into your 360???

Since you are using a switch which does not use DHCP the switch is pretty much useless. You will have to connect straight to the modem. Or buy a router that has DHCP. You are getting the conflict because you have multiple sources trying to connect to the internet using the same IP address. You can shut down the computer and run the xbox but I am sure that will get annoying after awhile.

Dude, before you come here asking you need to eliminate simple problems such as...Restarting the router AND Cable Modem, Hooking the 360 up directly to the cable modem etc. If all else fails you'll have to clear the 360 hdd cache by pressings certain buttons in order. My 360 experienced the same thing out of the blu one day and it eventually came down to doing some maintenance on the hard drive by pressing the necessary buttons on your 360 controller.
