I just picked up my Xbox 360, and i'm trying to get it online with Xbox live, but when I go to test my connection it doesnt recognize my I.P. address. I'm not the best when it comes to managing my router options and such, so maybe if anyone else has had this problem before, or someone who knows alot about this kinda thing maybe you could help me out, thanks.

Here's the problem, I got everything hooked up, but when I go to test it, it tells me that it's not getting an IP address from the DHCP server...What the heck does that mean, and can I fix that?

ok first go grab your router manual and find the local ip address of the router it should be something like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 i dont no about netgear but type that same number into where you put web-page address.

can you give me the model to the netgear you are using it would a lot easier if i could get a manual off there website then i could just walk you through, cause i have a d-link i think there interfaces are setup different.

Yeah, I can see that screen if that's what you mean...Do you have AIM, or Yahoo maybe it may be a little easier to talk that way...
