Xbox Live Labs (America)

Yet another little thing form Microsoft X-box Live Labs, this little application takes up a chunk of your network for 6hr and gives you 3 avatar items. this will hopefully fix any issues with X-box connectivity, you can't play games or basically use your X-box throughout any of the tests, only the first 30min cannot be stopped. Find it on your dashboard, run it while your at work or sleeping and enjoy your items.

One noteREAD THE AGREEMENTS AND WARNINGS.

I saw this on Major Nelson's blog earlier today. It's 6 hours total so I don't mind doing it - I'll simply leave it on over night. If it's going to possibly help networking on their side I'm all for it. It's not like I have limited bandwidth and the 3 zero point achievements/3 avatar awards are a nice bonus.

I downloaded it last night need to remember to do it this weekend.

Zero point achievements are just achievements with 0G, just a marker to say 'Hey I did that' like any other achievement.

I'm with you on the whole hack/illegal check, I mean why would it take Microsoft 6hr to do what any ISP can do in less then 30min, oh its Microsoft lol answered that myself I guess XD. Really I would have liked to see more information on what Live Labs was from the start and what the test did entirely, after all I have nothing to worry about I don't even bend the ToS I would just like to see what's going on.

I did it

I would give this a try but I can't seem to find it on my dashboard. I go to the my community tab which is where I thought i was supposed to be, but only see facebook, twiter, kinect video, etc. I live in the USA, any idea why I cant find it?

Yeah did an hour yesterday. I just left on on while i went to workout and i workout most days so ill probably get 6 hours eventually.

he isnt hardcore he stays at home and plays games, while his mommy teaches him school from home

I don't understand. Your mom must homeschool you for 2 hours a day then, granted that you get 8 hours of sleep each night.

Multinational corporations will always have home region specials, will people just finally get over this.

I finished it ,but I sure hope live improves.The party ghat needs a big fix and the random disconnects ticks me off also.
