I just bought a wireless adapter for my xbox 360 and have connected to xbox live with no problems. One thing which I was expecting though was an option togo offline (i.e.disconnect fromxbox live) whenever playing a single player game as the console must have to do more work when connected. Has anyone ever experienced slower single player gaming while connected to xbox live? Do you know of any way to go offline besides disconnecting the adapter? Are there any downsides to being connected all the time?
