ON xbox live, I can't connect the xbox to the rouder. Do I have to get the network adapter thingy for it, or is there an alternative?

I've got mine linked straight into the modem with a DSL cable. That's all I needed.

what do you mean you can't connect it to your xbox, like you don't have a cord? or what?

well u can use the ethernet cable that came with the system, and connect it to the router, or if u want wireless, buy the 360 wireless adapter. well i bought a bridge connector, which is a two box looking, and one connected to the router, and one connected to my xbox. i
