So i just got a 360 and im not sure how to set up xbox live. it says that you have to connect it to a wireless router, the problem is my router is upstairs and my 360 is downstairs. what do i do?

You can get a Wireless Adapter which you just put in the 360 via the UCB in the back of it. Or keep it upstairs and use the ethernet cable.

well first you have to connect your ethernet cable to your 360 and your modem/router

i didnt buy a wireless adapter. i think i need to because theres no room where my router to set up the 360

When you go on and make an account FOR THE LOVE OF WHATEVER OMNISCIENT BEING YOU BELIEVE IN WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING!!!!!!! Trust me I didn't and now I'm stuck with full family settings on and no way to turn them off IT IS AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh well what do you have connected in all 4 of them that the 360 wont fit in there?or can you connect it in there?

no the problem is my router is connected to my computer and theres no room for the 360 and a tv where my computer is set up

ohhhhhhhh well i guess your gonna have to buy a VGA cable to play on your minitor if its lcd screen OR just buy a wireless adapter so you can play in anywhere (in your house) 3rd option make room move stuff around easyest one
