Xbox live should have a game renting service.

This would be a cool feature. You could rent a game for 5 days or so and it would challenge companies like gamefly. It may also force game devs to make better games that we would actually want to buy and renting it and stop making those lame ass 20 hour games with no replay value.

The only problem with that is that it's going to cost a LOT ofbandwidth.

I can agree with you that single-player games are far too short these days, for the most part.

But this wouldn't be a very good idea, because it would be tough to compete with Gamefly.
