Is there a certain time the update will happen? Or do we just turn on our xbox360's and the update will pop up automaticaly?

that's how it was for me when the last update was released :D So the update came up as soon as you turned your xbox360 on? yup. it prompted me to install the update when I turned it on. same for a few of my friends.
As soon as the update goes out they'll update 'Splosion Man and it will let you unlock the first ever Avatar reward.

I know it's Splosion Man because Major Nelson has said it when he interviewed the developers of the game on his podcast. They didn't say what the award is or how to get it but all that will be told when the update comes out. The game has an awards screen that tells you how to unlock the gamerpics and theme you get from the game so I assume it will just add Avatar Award to the screen and tell you how to get it.

I'm curious to see what games on demand are going to make it to the final release. The two best games right now are Bioshock and Assassin's Creed. I'm hoping they do something about the price though. The $20 games I can deal with, but it's paying $30 for an older release that I don't understand.
my girl's on the 360, insomnia's got me up watching True Blood and reading Naruto manga at the same time... once the update arrives i'm kicking her off and going to play til about 8am, then sleep til work wednesday morning, :)

I dont know if it is anything like how you updated on NXE but I am pretty sure it will be like the update you get when you play a game. I am pretty much going to look forward to this.
