how is it? is the connection good unlike ps2 where it says 'could not connect with toher players' sometimes? becuase if i am gonna pay $50 a year i want the connection to always work. How is is xbox live? worth the money? i am asking becuase i don't know whether to get 360 or ps3 and ps3 has free multiplayer.
it is definitley worth every cent. if you dont hav live your missing out on tons of content on every game. it adds so much more value to every game you buy. i wouldnt hav even bought gears of war if i couldnt play it online. and when u think about 50 bucks for a year is not very much. thats like 4 bucks a month.
The ps3 may own the 360 in some areas, but sony will never even come close to beating microsoft in online gaming. X box live is really worth the money, and it's extremely cheap. The 360 experience just won't be the same without xbox live. Personaly i beat Gears of War in about 5 days, and to tell you the truth after I beat it i was bored again. But then i bought Xbox live gold, and thats the only game i can play for days online without ever getting bored. But in the ending if your the type of gammer who doesnt really like online games then don't get X box live or just get the ps3.
The deciding factor for me in my purchase of the Xbox 360 was how awesome the online system was. I had used Xbox live back in the Xbox Classic (is that what they are calling it now?) days, and I was really impressed with how it was set up.
My friend got an Xbox 360 launch day and I saw him messing around with the 360 Xbox live and at that point I knew that I had to have this system.
Xbox Live is the best online gaming system ever invented.
You cannot really complain too much about PS2 online, sure it had its share of problems, but its free so you can't really complain. And some of my fondest online gaming memories are from playing Resident Evil Outbreak online with voice chatting over the internet.
