Xbox nation, what would your third Forza be, if any?

I saw rumors of a third Forza series a while back and was wondering what people would like to see in a third Forza series. Personally, I'd want Forza's take on Mario Kart. It'd be especially cool if it led to a series of arcade sports titles in the major sports, with co-op and competitive multiplayer with local+online multiplayer, just like Forza Kart could be!

Thus, I ask...

I think 2 is enough to be honest... got both sim & arcade covered.

Yeah I'm not sure how I feel about a third one, it might spread the series too thin. As a big fan of both the Horizon and Motorsport series, those eat up a lot of my gaming time already.

If there is ever a 3rd series, it would have to be something quite different than those 2, maybe a full fledged rally title, or a kart game as mentioned in the OP.

Then there is the issue of "can the studio handle a 3rd game", they would need to hire more people probably. I can't really see it right now, but you never know if they come up with something that surprises us, who knows really. Maybe they could do a flying game.....I heard the makers of Project Cars are doing that next.....not really a simulator, but a mix of arcade/simulation maybe.

They have a Forza releasing every year between main numbered Forza's and Forza Horizon games.

I wonder where they would insert the 3rd Forza series...

@xanatos357: I don't see how that could work, Forza is an established series with a strong brand identity, it's based on real-life stuff....cars, tracks, racing, etc. That's what people think of when they hear Forza. Car combat is more Science-Fiction, so I just don't see it as being a good fit with Forza.

But hey, never say never right, if you are really hoping for something like that, well who knows. I'm just trying to offer a realistic perspective on this, being a long time Forza fan.

But, if you're a fan of car combat games as I am, then you're in luck because there is one coming out soon based on the Mad Max movie. Check out the gameplay footage on the other thread I made....it was actually your post above that reminded me we are so close to release and gave me the idea to make the other thread. Hopefully it turns out good :)

Agreed, I believe what the TC heard was just that, a rumour.

I think they could do what CoD did and have 3 different games on a 3 year cycle instead of 2 year cycle, but I don't think the 3rd game should be forza, I'd rather they bring back PGR or Rallisport, or bring back both and do 4 year cycles.
