Xbox noob

OK, I'm pretty much new to the Xbox 360 console, and to tell the truth I really dont understand how to play online. I have an Xbox360 Arcade, does that mean I cannot play online? And is online also called LIVE? Please explain this to me.

You need a CAT 4, 5 or 5c ethernet cable. Then you need to pay on your or whoever's credit card (with their permission of corse!) to upgrade from silver LIVE membership (standard) to gold.

Also you're a newb BTW not a n00b. A n00b's someone who isn't good at the game but tries to make up for it by using crude tactics ect and refuses to take advice to inprove because they think they're god's gift or something. A newbie's just a newb.

It's alright man. The online is called LIVE and the Arcade is just the version of 360 you bought (there's the premium and elite above it). To play online you need a Gold account on your 360, once you join it they should give you a free one month tria than after that you buy cards.Strife88
