Has anyone noticed the abxy buttons on the new 3.5mm controller is less springy than the old controllers. I say this because i find myself holding down the a button by accident a lot more, it takes a lot more release pressure, this is annoying when I'm playing a game that uses the "a" button repetitively. Or did i just get a defective controller.

Yes it seems to be so. The new controllers a,b,x,y buttons do have less spring then the first version controllers of Xbox One. I have thought that it was just because it was new. But there is a slight difference.

The bumper triggers on the new contollers are much better. No hard clicks, and easier to press.

I tested another 3.5mm controller and it has the same issue. It's hard to understand if you don't have the older controller to compare it to, but the older one has much better abxy buttons.

I just resumed using the one that came with the Halo 5 console, the sticks feel a bit better, also the bumpers seem an improvement (I previously played with the titanfall controller and the day one edition controller)
