Xbox One doesnt come with 1yr free xbox live gold (Day1 or Standard)

Nope it doesn't.... You should know by now M$ is really desperate to get people's money with all the 180's and they would be at a total loss with in inclusion of 1 year free gold.

i've heard this also but if it were true it would have been a huge bullet point on the pre-order page on amazon or the official xbox site, so i doubt its true.

i might have missed it, the only thing i see on the pre-order tab on the dash is this.

While on the topic though, I see there are Day One Xbox Live Gold mamberships. Does this offer anything different to any other Gold code, or is it just pretty packaging? Can't seem to find out anywhere.stray2615
