Is the Xbox One's Kinect Always on even when the console is turned off? That would be creepy, it can always see you and hear you.

How can it possibly see you ALL the time? Unless you carry the Kinect camera around all day with it facing you. When my Xbox is turned off and I've finished my playing session I won't even be in front of the Kinect anymore.

@BattleSpectre Well I would have one in my room not living room and I would sit in front of the Tv all day because I work off the computer solo yea i fear it would still be looking at me all the time. I read that The kinect stays on even when the Xbox is off.

Apparently according to Microsoft it can be switched off and like you said if you don't feel comfortable with it being there just cover the sensor with something or unplug the thing. Win-win.

If Major Nelson wants to sit in his office and look at me absentmindedly touching myself while watching Rizolli & Isles, he can go right the hell ahead.
