Just copying my comment from slashgear:
Now I don't hold allegiance to any form of gaming (PC, xbox, PS, etc) They all have their ups and downs. That being said this really makes me slightly reconsider xbox, or microsoft for that matter. This new "achievement" system is purely an advertising ploy. "We will let you stream TV through your new system,.....but you have to come up with some new ploy to make people watch certain shows at certain times." This really brings down the caliber of true gaming achievements that so many of us try hard to get; some of those are damn hard (seriously 3.0, mile high club), and it does feel like an accomplishment for getting it done. Sitting on my ass watching TV doesn't exactly feel like an accomplishment. Although this might be a good accomplishment:
50G - THE GOOD HUSBAND - Sit though 2 hours of watching your wife's favorite dancing competition.
100G - TOLKIEN HIMSELF - Sit through all 3 extended versions of the LOTR series plus The Hobbit without getting up once (Kinect is watching you....)
Does anyone else feel this way? This is a little ridiculous right?
