I see no reason to get the 360 version over PC if you have a good PC.moocow21

Agreed. The 360 version is done capably, but you're better off with the PC version if you can handle it. If you've got really good hardware, it'll also look better on the PC. But if you're on an old PC, get it for 360 because it is actually implemented much better than I could have imagined.

Except Xbox has/will change that. Halo and Halo Wars. Nuff said'
Halo 3 is a joke from what I've seen of the beta. FPSs will NEVER have more control with a controller than with a mouse (Possible exception could be the Wii-mote at some point). A controller is not as good as a mouse/keyboard when it comes to these genres.

You are obviously not that good at games. I can play an FPS with either a controller or mouse. IMO a mouse just makes it too easy and the controller is more realistic with the vibrations etc. A mouse is just point and click....how realistic is that?

So a controller is realistic? When have you shot someone with a frisbee? Oh wait, never. And you're pretty ignorant to come to the conclusion that I must not be good at FPSs since I prefer mice to controllers. Realism does not equal ease of use, which is what I was commenting on. (Not which one seems "more realistic") And is realism a factor in RTSs? No.

Did I say the controller is realistic? The mouse is just tooo easy and like I said I can play fine with either it makes no difference to me. I was just playing Halo 2 on the Pc with the mouse then i plugged the controller in and it did not make any difference.

Some people prefer to carry on this mouse is better than controller argument but to me it makes no difference at all.

In my opinion, controllers are better, and that's what matters. Halo is best, don't hate.

common rule, don't talk until you've played it, duh. :P
The controls work very well for the 360 version, but you can never beat the speed and precision of a mouse for RTS games. Several times I've been frustrated because the cursor keeps locking on to units I don't want to select and I can't jump around the map quickly. It's a great game on the 360, but if you have a PC capable of running it on high settings (and it isn't a particularly demanding game either) then I would go for that simply because the mouse.GreenMan
Had the same problems when I was playing. Also Its hard to select certain groups on the Xbox Version and sometimes it will select all units from across the map. I think im pretty set on getting the PC version. Thanks for the input guys.
