Just wondering what everyone else thinks about them. I love them, but I think $15 is a bit overpriced for the games. I recently bought Fable: The Lost Chapters from EB for $10. I'm going to look for Psychonauts, but if I can't find it, i'll probably end up buying it off the Xbox. Vote what you think, and then if you want post why you chose that answer.

depends on the disc price. Or how lazy I feel the day an original game I want is released. I still think they should add games that have not yet been made BC but I guess if they could do that then why not make the disc versions BC.

no not worth $15 for a game you cannot play at a friends house. I bought Fable like 6 months ago (if not longer) and I only payed $7. and my disc can be played in Any Xbox, not just mine. Same with Crimson Skies and Halo. You can buy the games used at the storeSO much cheaper than the download.

I am getting pulled both ways. Half of me thinks it is a good idea, but the other dosn't. I was told by a friend that I should play psychonauts, so if I can't find it anywhere for cheap I will download it. Or maybe just rent it lol.

Only Timesplitters 2 or Mashed / Mashed : Fully Loaded would make me use Xbox Originals.

Most Xbox 1 games I have either bought on the PS2 or PC, played before or just aren't that good.

It's really all about space. Most people have the 20GB unit and after a couple of games no more space.

microsoft is overpricing these old games. the games arent updated and why pay $15 to download fable when you can get the expansion pack lost chapters for less? the ONLY reason to download is if you live in a country area with limited access to buy the physical copy.

If there were added features like achievements and online multiplayer in lets say...HALO!!!!!!!!!!! then yes it would be worth it. But since there is no added features whatsoever, it is not worth it.

All I have to say is Psychonauts. The best game that nobody played. It also goes for around 20 bucks on ebay, not including shipping, so I'm gonna say that one is totally worth it, phenominal game no matter how you slice it

That's what's weird about Xbox. I think it was the Skate demo. It took up 1 gig, but the full game doesn't. Just like Fable. I checked the one you can buy off Xbox. It's 1.3 gigs, but I got The Lost Chapters, and it was only 645 kigs or something. I don't know all the gigs and kigs. But all I know was that it took up less space.

I can get Crimson skies for 3 bucks used, but I can't find Psychonauts. Some are worth it if they're not readily available.

I would have to say no.. I would HIGHLY recommend just getting the game from the store, besides they are already having issues with those full game downloads

If Halo had been released before Halo 3, I probably would have bought it, but I borrowed it instead. I'm interested in Psychonauts. The problem is the size. I can certainly make space with a bunch of demos I've still got that I'm not likely to play anymore. I think Psychonauts in particular was 5.3GB. I know you can re-download once you have purchased it, but if there are multiple I want, I'm not so keen on having to redownload every time I want to play a game. If the 120GB hard drive was value for money, it would be a different story...

Just what I was thinking. I already have to delete old demos and game videos whenever I want to download something new, so I sure as heck don't have room for full xbox games. Not to mention that the games are cheaper in disc form. When I first heard about xbox originals, I told myself the only one I might make room for was Halo and that was only in the tiny chance that Bungie added live multiplayer. If that happened, I would drop CoD4 in a nanosecond (at least for a night or two).

It depends on several things to me, the most important being hard drive space and the outrageous price of the 120GB hard drive. If it were cheaper I might consider getting one and then look at buying some of the Xbox Originals. Until then, no thanks because there's no way I'm paying $180 for that drive.

I'd also say it depends.

But on the whole I think its a good price.

Usually when i go to EB games The cheapest they have them on sale is 10-15 dollars. And its usually used. I'm always worried about scratched disks so I like having a soft copy that will never scratch. Plus, people here say that you can sell it afterwards if you buy it in stores. Are you seriously going to try and sell a game this old aftewards? Also, where are you going to find some of these games? I've been looking for psychonauts forever at my EB games and none of them carry them.

I think it all depends on the game really. If it is a good game and it is hard to come by it might be worth it but for me I don't think I will pluck out any of those games.
