Xbox Overheating

My Xbox one is constantly overheating just because i have been playing this one particular game (Minecraft) it is really annoying me I'm suggesting on buying a intercooler or maybe if you guys had any suggestions on how to fix it that would be great!

Try blowing on it or pouring really cold liquids.

@cammymuffin: is this an xbox one x? or a reg xbox one? or an xbox slim? i find it hilarious the xbox slim is almost the same size as the xbox one x

Which one is it? You're not covering the ventilation on either the top or the back are you?

Mighty X1X runs cool as a cucumber and quiet as a church mouse so hilarious is not the word you're looking for, more like Ingeniously designed. Now, PS 4 Poo on the other hand being bigger, hotter and louder than the regular PS4 and loads weaker than X1X is Hilarious. lol :P

Yeah I mean in a gaming session I think my butt gets warmer than the actual Xbox One.

It was probably deliberately conservative because they didn't want to deal with another RROD fiasco.

Well I have that one too. I would recommend talking to Microsoft support and see what they have to say. They probably will not repair it though, the console usually only has a 1-year warranty.

I'm not kidding you, mine only gets somewhat hot if the ventilation is covered. When you put your hand over the top ventilation is there air blowing out? Maybe the fan failed.

You can use a small PC fan (3" works great) install rubber feet on the 4 corners and set it over the opening to blow air upwards. Try to select a fan that is nice and quiet but still moves a good amount of air. You will also need a small power supply to power the fan, or a USB power fan.
