To answer the first part of your question. Look it up on ebay, bestbuy, GS or one of many other sites. Prices vary from new, used and refurbished and a headset usually comes with the xbox.

To hook the 360 up to the internet, use an ethernet cable and plug one end into your xbox(preferrably in the ethernet port) and plug the other end into a router or directly into the modem.

The modem is what allows devices onto the internet. Right now your computer is using the modem to connect you to this website. It is a piece of hardware that usually looks like a tall box with 4 solid lights and oneflashing light on it. The box is usually about 8 inches high.

Are you saying it works wirelessly? You can buy a wireless device for the 360, it costs $100. Have you looked up any of those websites for prices. Do that first. Most of your questions will be answered if you look up these products first.
