I live in Clearwater, FL, which is where Scientology is based. I will not delve into the subject entirely, but the effect they have had on the city is both positive and negative. The main drag downtown looks splendid, and it's primarily because of Scientologists. Likewise, numerous contractors have been able to maintain their average yearly profit margin due to Scientology's developments downtown, when the real estate market is one of our major sources of income in Florida. At the same time, their theology is slightly more outlandish than other dominant and marginal faiths, and it also appears to be financially motivated, at least partially. The Sci-Fi author's name is L. Ron Hubbard, and his fiction was mediocre, to be honest. They also made a film based on his saga which informs Scientology, but I can't remember the name of it. Anyway, if you want to see weird, come to Clearwater, you can drive down Ft. Harrisson Road and you'll see hundreds of them walking around in their little outfits.
They could make a stealth game similar to Mission: Impossible on the N64, where your character's task is to infiltrate the headquarters of Scientology and bring the organization down from the inside.
