Sounds like you're commanding the 360 to scarch your game. :) Anyway, the usual reasons for the 360 scartching discs is if the console is moved while the disc is spinning. Keeping it vertical or horizontal doesn't seem to make much difference. The DVD-drive was changed in the 360's late last year, and some have suggested that the previous versions were scatching discs.
How old is you 360? My 360 is the pre-BenQ drive and is sitting horizontal and I haven't had any scratching issues..
All of a sudden my xbox just randomly starts putting these fine scratches in my games....so I put it horisontally and it still does it just not as bad. does anyone have any Idea on how to make it stop?!?RunLamboRun
