Hey guys,

I just got an xbox 360 and I want to get live.

I can't run an ethernet cord so...

Should I buy the microsoft thingy for about 50$

or do you know any other alternatives I heard you can use other adapters as well. I want the fastest most lag free gameplay I can get without cords, and also my psp gets 100% connection all the time in the spot where my xbox is.

Thanks

Wired always beats wireless. If you're serious about gaming, you'll run a cord to your 360. Go read the other 3497380 topics about this.

One more thing, all these topics asking for game recommendations: This is what will be told: Mass Effect, Skate, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 and Guitar Hero III.

If you need to go wireless, I suggest the offical first party one. You can configure it via the dashboard (third party one you will need to use a computer). Also they are very convenient and support A/B/G. I like mine a lot.

I have the wireless adapter. I never get lag or disconnected during online play. Its expensive but I think it is worth it. The only other way I know is by connecting your 360 to your PC and using your PCs connection to play online. The only drawback to this is you need your PC on every time you want to play online. That is if your 360 is by your PC anyway.
