i was playing cod4 about 10 minutes ago and my xbox signed out of live, when i tried to sign back in it said an update was available so i updated and it restarted my xbox. any idea as to what this was for?
yeh thats what i was thinking because i checked just about every menu didnt see anything new, even checked the xbox.com/update page and no news there. oh well back to gaming :)
i dont remember it doing this before. anyway i deleted a demo off my system and the side blade on the right came over and gave a message about this profile still being able to download it again free of charge. i knew i could do that but i dont think it use to say that. i could be wrong
Xbox 360 System update now available (no new features)
A few minutes ago, the team released a system update for the Xbox 360 over Xbox LIVE. Sometime over the next few hours when you sign in to Xbox LIVE you'll recieve a prompt to accept this mandatory update. This update contains code to 'prepare for future growth of the service.' There are no other changes or enhancements in this update...in other words no new features.
To be clear: This is not the new Xbox experience update. That will come in the Fall.

i really hope that the actual update will be on september. i want that 1680*1050 res! :Donuruca
that's not gonna "magically" make your programed 720p/1080p games in some higher resolution lol like you're on a dang pc. lol you will have black bars on the sides and on the top and bottom of your screen lol. don't get your hopes up....
