I have a Samsung 226bw

and I was wondering if i should get an elite or the premium

My question is will there be a difference running a vga cable to get 720p or getting an Hdmi cable with the premium into that monitor

HDMI will always be the best bet.. But if you are only running 720P then, it really won't make that much of a difference.

well according to the specs it doesn't have an HDMI port (unless I'm reading the wrong thing), so besides the extra hard drive space the Elite would be pretty useless

There's no HDMI on the 226BW and I don't think you would notice much of a difference between VGA and HDMI at that size...Either way you'll have to buy the VGA cable so if you want the extra HDD space then get the Elite. 360 through VGA on that monitor will look great trust me, as long as you have your monitors settings right:)Are the Elites even in stores still?
