xbox wont turn on!

i press the button and nothing happens//! no rings of death, no rings at all nothing happens no lights, and when i press in the button on the controller nothing happens except the lights on the controller flash. please help someone!

i'm sure you've already checked, but is it plugged in? if it is, maybe the circuit tripped or something?

it is plugged in i have unplugged it and plugged it in again and still nothing!

is there a light on on the transformer box connecting the power from the wall to the xbox?

either way, your best bet would probably be to call xbox support. The number is 1-800-4MY-XBOX

i wasjustwondering if anyone else has had this problem before and if itjust went away by itself or they did something? i would like to know incase itsjust overheating or something.

Before going through all that, if you're plugging into a power strip, try plugging into the wall, specifically on a known good outlet. Best to do that before yacking with our good friends at Microsoft. Whether the light is on on your powerbox though would greatly single out where the failure is though, if you could get back to us with that.

ok fixed it, the brick had come lose and wire, lol ,thanks for all the help guys., see u on xbox live :)
