i picked up my 60g abit before x mas and it says i only have 13 gigs storage space, is it like that with all consoles or is there somthing wrong

that sounds like you have a 20 gig instead I would return it

I think it got misboxed or something. they usually come with about 6 or 7 gigs of crap on them. I definitely sounds like you got a 20 gig. Take it back.

I would go back to wherever you bought it from and return it somthing must of gotton mixed up somewere along that xboxs life.

well if i bought a memory card could i put all my saved game files on it and my profile so i dont have to restart everything ???????

I have a 60gb and when I first got it it said I had about 52gb of space... There is about 8gb of stuff on it. I deleted the demos and videos that came on it.

You can put profiles on a memory card. Go back and ask them about your HD.

I'd rather believe what the actual harddrive says instead of the box of your console. You got a 20 GB.

It doesn't matter what it says... that's a 20gb HDD. That is how much they have left when brand new due to MS stuff on there. I work in security in retail and you would be amazed at all the scams I see. Someone could have bought it and switched the trim on it an returned it to get a free 60gb with their old 20gb in the box... or like someone said, it could be a packaging/manufacturing error at the factory. Either way there is a 100% chance you have a 20gb... return it.
