Xbox360 has the best action game ever created. Ninja Gaiden 2

Tomonobu's Itagaki's final ninja masterpiece, and no Sigma 2 doesn't count, it's suppossed to be bloody and brutal, how it was originally intended.

Forget what you heard it's no less great than NG1, this game rules. Coolest most kickass game I've ever played. The ultimate technique with the lunar staff could be the coolest thing i've ever seen. Seriously, wow, give this game a chance or a rent if you havn't allready.

It's has an easy option. Though it's really not very easy, lol.

I practiced on normal, changed my style and weapon if I was finding it difficult. Different types of enemies are easier with the right weapon equiped.

yup i loved it i would buy ninja gaiden 3 in a heart beat. When you beat it on hard or higher you just feel like such a bad ass your def are a controller ninja at that point. Few games make me feel that way nothing provides a challenge anymore.

I like it as well, but it has one of the worse v-syncing for the 360 I've seen so far.

Unfortunately NG2 is the last Ninja Gaiden made by the original development team and director. I'm not sure if I would even want a lame censored NG3 like sigma 2 though.

The soundtrack is one of my all time favourites. Esspecially for rocking with teh nunchucks. XD Also a gigantic scythe of doom.

Actually it's not nunchucks in NG2, those night stick bat things... seriously the most legendary game ever.

I agree that it's an excellent game however;

1- there is no coop multiplayer.

2- you cant go back to chapters you havecompleted; its just a one way.

I've bought two xbox's to play this game, worth every penny. I don't think many people "get" this game, thats kinda why I made this thread. Seriously legendary.

Yeah. The funnest part is turning on Ninja Cinema and killing packs of enemies while switching weapons. Ninja Cinema doesn't show the menus, attaching the last part before you opened the menu and the first part after you closed it, so you can see a pretty fluid version of you kicking some Black Spider ninja butt.

What did you find broken about it out of curiosity? I never had any problems with it other than it doesn't register a reverse swallow occasionally.

Wow, awesome. Do you need a harddrive to use ninja cinema? I only have an arcade memory card, I assumed it saves big movies? Can you adjust the camera angle?

I reckon the videos don't take up much space. I'm not sure, but if you've got around 50 mb on your card I'm pretty sure you can get videos in. To turn on Ninja cinema you have to go Options and put it on "On".

i agree with GS's score. its a solid 8, and a game hardcore NG fans should play.

See, I think everyone who likes videogames should play this game. This is one of the new classics, one of those ones that will be remembered with fondness years later, for me anyway, Zelda just doesn't do it for me. I personally think it's the benchmark of action games which all other action games are judged against. Thats something.

With DevilMayCry of course, but thats slightly different, more flippant and less serious and more devilmaycry-ish. :D. Yet I still judge it agaisnt this aswell.

I loved NGII. It was brutally awesome to play. I also have NGS, NGDS, and have NGS2CE pre-ordered. (also used to own the original NG NES cartridges way back when) NG rocks, Ryu Hayabusa forever!

i played that game to bits when i first got it.. :D.. i was screaming bloody hell when i finished it too.. :P.. scared my sisters away..

I love Ninja Gaiden 2...I got a lot of game hours out of it too. Its soo hard thoo, I'll admit i wanted to throw the controller at the TV at some points, but it is definately an amazing game. My favorite weapons are the scythe or the claws...they just are awesome.

I stopped reading there. But, in your defense it would be true, if the entire middle part of the game would disappear.

It's not Demon's Souls :p It's not too hard once you get used to how it's supposed to be played. It's all about being evasive and defensive. Practice combos and different weapons, the lunar staff is deadly. The Flying Swallow technique will help you alot.

I had to post a shot of the real Ninja Gaiden incase Sigma was crapifying this thread too much. Sorry, My bad.
