Dear gamespot, I got the RROD Last week and for some idiot reason i decided i would open the console up. long story short my warranty sticker is sitting in a trash can somewhere, i was wondering if bought a xbox360 warranty sticker off eBay and put it where it should be then sent it to Microsoft for repair would they open my console up and actually try fix it, or simply replace it with a new one? I'm asking because i tryed the penny fix for RROD and there now 4 penny's inside it (: which i can't get out because the screws are wasted. Basically if they open the console up, they'll know that I've been inside it. Thanks in advance, much love.

Yeah, buying a warranty sticker is not gonna work. MS will know once they open up the console.

Well, if you opened it up and made no marks, and you got yourself a proper sticker, then how would thek know? If you cleaned the old sticker glue off, I don't see how they would be able to tell.

Did you miss the part where he said there were 4 pennies inside and the screws are wasted? I'm assuming wasted means stripped, they'll definitely know. May as well get an arcade and use ur HDD on it.
