according to the stories Xbox 360 would be upgraded to DirectX 10 via a patch that would enable easier cross platform development of games such as Crysis. However ATI has stated that the Xbox 360 cannot be upgraded in this way.

360 only has DX9 support.

What I can remember is that the 360 supports DX9, plus a few features of what would eventually become DX10. Thusly, it's sortof DX9.5, but maybe I'm wrong. I thought I remembered it being a little better than DX9.

X360 supports DX9.0C fully (HDR+AA+AF)

And some extra features that DX10 even doesnt support. (Embed 10MB dram )
